Our standard range of wooden panels includes three durable and beautiful wood species: European Oak, American Walnut, and Ash. These options ensure exceptional endurance and enhance the aesthetic appeal of any space. In addition to these regularly used wood species, we also have the possibility to create panels from other types of wood upon “custom request“. However, this is subject to the availability of the specific material you request.

Our standard finish for wooden panels involves using hardwax oils and decorative ones. However, we also provide the option of varnishing.

The choice of panel finish depends on factors such as the type of wood and individual customer preference. We offer a wide range of options to ensure it’s easy to find a finish that perfectly matches your unique project style.

Oil is a type of finish that penetrates into the wood structure, impregnating it from within. It maintains the panel’s natural “breathing” properties and enhances the wood’s natural color and grain. On the other hand, varnishing creates a protective coating on the surface of the wood. Varnished panels have a more intense color but still allow the natural structure of the wood to show through. Varnishing offers a wider range of color options and provides added resistance to damage and humidity.

FORM AT WOOD’s official offer has been carefully designed to present a wide range of colors, providing the flexibility to choose panel colors that harmonize with other materials in your project or room. Alongside our standard finish options, which can be found in our color card, we also provide “made to order” finishing choices to cater to specific project requirements and meet the market’s expectations.

Varnishing the panels is an excellent method for achieving a desired decorative color. We have a complete range of colors available in the RAL palette, allowing us to create panels that precisely meet your requirements and match the intended style of your room. The intriguing part is that even when the panels are fully coated with the chosen varnish color, you can still appreciate the distinctive natural wood grain and texture. This means you get the best of both worlds – a specific color scheme and the beauty of the wood’s natural characteristics, all in one.

Absolutely, we offer that option too. The application of oil or varnish (finish stage) to the panels is the final step in our production process. However, if you prefer to finish the panels on your own or have any specific reasons for receiving them in their raw wood state, please inform us, and we will be happy to meet your request.

We offer a wide range of high-quality oils from renowned brands like Osmo, Ciranova, or Oddies Oil for the oiling option. This diverse selection of colors allows you to easily customize the panel finish to align with your planned design.

But that’s not all. We also give you the option to recommend an oil of your choice for finishing the panels. For this option, just provide us with the name of the oil manufacturer, a specific color number, or even a sample of the specific finish, and our production team will make every effort to find a perfect match. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we go the extra mile to ensure that the oiled wall panels beautifully enhance your desired decor.

Our standard panels are finished with a decorative coating called hard wax oil, and their fireproof rating is D-s2, d2. However, if you require fire-resistant materials for public spaces, we can provide special fire-resistant coatings. These coatings, such as Ciranova UN1CO oil or Hasse MEGA-PUR varnish, meet the fire rating B-s1, d0. Please note that ordering fireproof panels may involve a slightly longer production time and higher cost. But that’s not all.

The panels in all our collections (EDGE/SMOOTH/FLAT/DESIGNERS), regardless of their shape (triangle, diamond, or square base), are all 25 cm in length on each side. The same side length gives you the freedom to explore creative combinations and create unique compositions with all of the shapes, which was a key aspect of our design philosophy. Here are the specific dimensions of the panels:

  • Triangle profile panels: 250mm x 217mm – 9.8’’ x 8.5’’
  • Diamond profile panels: 375 mm x 217 mm – 14.8’’ x 8.5’’
  • Square profile panels: 250mm x 250mm – 9.8’’ x 9.8’’

In terms of thickness, the panels consist of a 12mm structural layer made of plywood, combined with a decorative solid wood section that varies in thickness from 2.5mm to 19mm, depending on the specific series or model. The total thickness of the panels differs for each product as follows:

  • TRIANGLE, CARO, SQUARE – 14.5mm – 0.6’’
  • PYRAMID, IMPRESSIONS – 25mm – 1’’
  • DIAMOND, PILLOW, CARO PLUS, CARO MINUS, ARCH – 30mm – 1.2’’

The total thickness of the panels differs for each product as follows:

  • HEXAGO CM-A, HEXAGO CM-D – 92mm – 3.6’’
  • HEXAGO P-A – 87mm – 3.4’’
  • HEXAGO CM-A FLAT, HEXAGO CM-D FLAT, HEXAGO P-A FLAT – 77mm – 3.0’

The satisfaction of our customers is essential for us, which is why we are open to custom projects (new pattern, different profile dimensions or thickness). We can modify the available patterns or design a completely new panel model in accordance with the FAW technology. It’s important to keep in mind that creating a new pattern involves a considerable investment of time and resources – it includes extensive testing and prototyping processes. Therefore, the feasibility of implementing a new design depends on factors such as the order size and willingness to contribute to prototyping/developing costs.

Our panels are constructed using a two-layer structure. The base of the panel is made from waterproof birch plywood, which helps minimize the risk of wood warping due to fluctuations in humidity. The top layer of the panels is a solid wood plank, serving a natural, decorative purpose. To create a cohesive material, both layers are securely bonded together using wood glue.

The standard collection of wooden decorative panels is designed to disperse sound through their 3D shapes, acting as diffusers. However, in partnership with the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, we have developed a line of acoustic panels that not only disperse sound but also absorb it. In our HEXAGO series, you will find panels classified with the highest sound absorption ratings – A (HEXAGO CM-A / HEXAGO P-A, HEXAGO CM-A FLAT / HEXAGO P-A FLAT) and D (HEXAGO CM-D, HEXAGO CM-D FLAT).

The key distinction between the EDGE and SMOOTH series is their visual appearance. We chose the names SMOOTH and EDGE to highlight the unique characteristics of each product group. In the EDGE series, the panels are created by cutting the planes at different angles, resulting in geometric shapes with prominent edges along the adjacent slopes. On the other hand, the SMOOTH series panels have only one organic edge dividing the two planes, giving them a more flowing and gentle look, which inspired their name.

The wooden panels come in different prices, ranging from 169€/m2 net to 1015€/m2 net. We fully understand that each project is unique in its own way. To provide you with our best service, we would like to gain a deeper understanding of your needs and preferences. It would be helpful for us to know:
-which panel model and type of wood you are interested in,
-your idea of application,
-the size of your wall or quantity needed,
-the location where the project will take place.

With this information, we can work together to develop a customized concept that aligns with your preferences. In the next step, you will have the opportunity to review the concepts and determine if our products are the right fit for your needs.

If you’re planning to install the panels yourself and your initial calculations indicate that there will be cuts required on the wall surface, it’s a good idea to consider ordering some extra panels for adjustments and cutting. We typically recommend including additional 5-10% more panels to ensure you have enough material for a smooth and seamless installation.

The primary payment method for FORM AT WOOD products is a traditional wire transfer, which can be made in 4 different currencies: EUR, PLN, USD, and GBP. Additionally, we also accept card-based payments through a link generated in the REVOLUT system. It’s important to note that this method incurs an additional fee of approximately 3% charged by the payment operators.

Our products come with a standard European warranty that provides coverage for a period of 2 years starting from the date of purchase.

The shipping time mainly depends on the destination and the means of transport (air/sea/road). Always at the stage of preparing a personalized offer, we are able to inform you about the estimated time of order fulfillment.

There are two ways to collaborate – under Ex-Works (EXW) terms, where the buyer takes care of the shipping and logistics responsibilities. However, we also offer the option of shipping on DAP Incoterms, which allows for delivery directly to the destination, providing a door-to-door service.

We usually pack products into special cardboard boxes with compartments (1m2 / 1.5m2 each). To provide extra protection, we secure the corners of the panels using sturdy cardboard angles. When it comes to larger orders, we further enhance the packaging by securing the cardboard boxes onto pallets. This ensures that the panels arrive at their destination in excellent condition, ready for you to begin your project immediately.

Most of the panels are made to order because the color range of the products is so wide and the designs so varied that it is difficult to have all the variations prepared in advance in stock. However, we try to keep some quantities in stock ready for finishing (i.e. milled and sanded) to reduce lead times for smaller orders.

The lead time for orders can be influenced by various factors, so we recommend consulting the current lead time before placing an order. This ensures that you have the most accurate information to make your decision, considering the specific period and situation you’re in.

If your parcel arrives damaged, there’s no need to worry. We work with reliable forwarders who have an exceptional track record, with an OTIF (ON-TIME-IN-FULL) rate exceeding 97%. However, in the unlikely event that the goods are damaged, we will make every effort to assist you by providing an explanation and replacing any panels that have been affected.

IMPORTANT:  If you notice that the packaging is visibly damaged, please kindly request the courier to prepare “damage report” document. This step is important for us to proceed with replacing the damaged goods with a brand new one.

Please note that if you arrange the transportation through your own carrier (EX-Works/collect shipping terms), FORM AT WOOD company cannot be held responsible for any damage that may occur during transit.

To gain a better understanding of the simplicity of the installation process, we recommend watching these two short videos:

Before you begin installing the panels, it’s important to prepare the wall surface properly. Start by thoroughly cleaning the wall, removing any paint coatings, wallpapers, loose decorative plaster, or other veneers. The wall should be smooth, dry, and free of grease. Additionally, it’s highly recommended to apply a deeply penetrating primer to the wall surface before installation. This preparation ensures that the panels can be installed securely.

To allow the panels to adjust to the temperature and humidity of the room, it’s advisable to bring them into the designated area for installation 24 to 48 hours before the planned montage. This “acclimatization” period helps the panels adapt to their surroundings. When installing the panels, bear in mind that pressing the panels against the wall will create a natural ventilation gap, the thickness of which depends on the amount of adhesive used for installation. The distance between the panels and the wall is normally 1 to 3 mm.

FORM AT WOOD’s products are designed specifically for indoor installation. It’s important to note that the warranty does not cover any damage caused by using the panels in outdoor conditions. Natural wooden panels are highly sensitive to moisture, significant temperature changes, intense sunlight, and ultraviolet radiation.

When exposed to external weather conditions, such as rain, snow, or direct sunlight, the panels can experience negative effects. These include potential cracks, discoloration, and accelerated aging of the wood. To ensure the longevity and optimal appearance of the panels, it’s crucial to keep them strictly for indoor use and avoid subjecting them to outdoor elements.

When installing panels in rooms with high humidity, it’s important to take into account the possibility of wood deformation and an increase in the roughness of the panel surface. Due to the effects of humidity, the wood may expand, causing the surface to become less smooth.

While there are no specific restrictions on using wood in bathrooms, it is recommended to protect the panels with products that contain high-quality resins. These resins create durable, compact, and flexible coatings on the wood surface. This is especially important in rooms where proper ventilation may not be maintained and moisture tends to linger, such as after a bath. However, we don’t recommend using the panels in areas where they will come into direct contact with water, such as the walls inside a shower.

It is not advisable to install wooden panels near fireplaces, stoves, or radiators as they should not come into direct contact with high-temperature surfaces. Doing so may cause the wood to dry excessively and result in deformation. However, if proper insulation is applied between this type of heat source and surface of the panels, installation can be considered to prevent any negative effects on the wood.

The panels are universally applicable and can be mounted on any plane. For the safety of users of any room where panels are to be installed on ceilings or other inclined planes, we recommend screwing the panels to some structure, instead of mounting only with mounting adhesives. FORM AT WOOD is not responsible for the installation of panels by third parties.

The best air humidity range for wooden panels is between 45% and 60%, and the temperature should be around 18-22°C. In winter, wooden panels tend to lose moisture faster, leading to shrinkage and deformation. It is important to regularly monitor the humidity and temperature levels in rooms with wooden elements inside. It’s worth noting that the ideal microclimate for wood is similar to the conditions in which we feel comfortable and our bodies function optimally.

At the moment, we do not have the FSC certificate, but FORM AT WOOD panels are made only of natural materials, and the wood used for their production is acquired from companies engaged in sustainable forest management – our wood suppliers are confirmed by FSC certificates.

Timeless design, universal use, functionality, and durability – thanks to these qualities our products can be used for many years. We are also eager to participate in various pro-environmental campaigns and initiate socially important initiatives, such as tree planting. You will be closer to nature with FORM AT WOOD…

Wood is a natural regulator of indoor air humidity. The “breathing” properties of wood mean that it absorbs moisture from the environment, and this process is reversed when the room is too dry. This unique property makes the wooden furniture, wooden floor or FORM AT WOOD wooden panels useful in maintaining optimal air humidity in the interior and ensuring the well-being of its users.

Ensuring long-term customer satisfaction is our top priority, and we are dedicated to providing you with comprehensive support whenever you need it.

What does this mean for you? It means that we are committed to assisting you with any technical concerns and guiding you on how to properly care for the panels, ensuring their longevity and reliable performance for many years to come.

The wooden decorative panels can be easily cut to the specific dimensions. To achieve precise cuts, you can use tools like a miter saw or other precise cutting tools for wooden elements. If you don’t have access to suitable tools or worry about potentially damaging the panels, simply let us know, and we’ll gladly assist you by cutting the panels to your specified dimensions before shipping them to you.

Yes, there is such a possibility. For this purpose one common option we offer additionally is veneering the panels. Veneering involves applying a thin layer of wood (veneer) to the panel edges to cover the plywood layer, giving them a more appealing look. This technique is typically used on the external panels of a project where the edges are visible.

Alternatively, there are various finishing strips available at DIY stores that can be used based on your preferences. Examples include wood strips, aluminum and brass flat bars, and even LED strips.

If you haven’t found a color that suits your preferences among the available options, don’t worry! We offer customized solutions and would be delighted to learn more about your specific requirements. Let us know about your needs by using our contact form.

The price depends on factors like the type of wood (Ash, Oak, or American walnut), the series of the product (FLAT, EDGE, SMOOTH, DESIGNER, or ACOUSTIC), and how the panels are finished. With so many options available, we treat each project individually to ensure we find a solution that matches your preferences and fits within your planned budget.

The lead time depends on two factors: the size of the order and our current workload. Typically, smaller orders with quantities up to 50m2 or 100 pieces of acoustic panels have an average lead time of 5-7 weeks + shipping time to destination. For larger projects, we handle each one individually to ensure we meet your expectations.

There is no requirement for a minimum order quantity. You can even flexibly order single pieces of panels. Depending on the size of your order, it will be shipped either in separate cardboard boxes or on pallets.

Before placing the order, you can reach out to our team by using the contact form and discuss your project idea. We’ll be happy to assist you with determining the exact number of panels required for your specific project.

We are able to ship our 3D wooden panels to nearly any place in the world. Thanks to our extensive network of trusted and dependable shipping partners, we can deliver FORM AT WOOD products to you promptly and securely using either land, sea, or air transport. The shipping costs are determined by factors such as the size of your order, the chosen means of transport, and the destination. By providing us with such details, we can find out through our shipping partners the most cost-effective rates for your inquiry.

Installing FORM AT WOOD panels is very easy. Glue each element directly to the surface by mounting adhesive, just like arranging puzzle pieces.

To install the acoustic panels, simply hang them on a wall hook.

Wooden panels can be installed in a variety of rooms and spaces, depending on your preference and design goals. Some popular places to install wooden panels are the living room, bedroom, dining room, cinema room, home office, and hallways. They can also work well in places like restaurants, cafes, hotels, resorts, reception areas, and retail stores. FORM AT WOOD panels are versatile decorative options that can be easily installed on almost any flat and smooth surface, including walls, floors, ceilings, and more. They serve as excellent decorative elements for furniture, bar fronts, and even door embellishments.

Ultimately, where you choose to install wooden panels depends on your personal style, the atmosphere you want to create, and how you plan to use the space.
