MIXING WOOD TONES

In collaboration with one of our partners, we transformed a hallway into a striking design masterpiece. The project showcases the power of teamwork and attention to detail. By mixing various wood tones and textures, we created a visually stunning and cohesive space that breathed new life into an old, tired hallway.

MIX WOOD TONES. HOW TO BREATHE NEW LIFE INTO AN OLD SPACE?

We embarked on an ambitious project alongside our partner, aiming to completely revitalize a large hallway. The goal was clear: to bring a fresh, modern twist to the space using a mix of wood tones while maintaining a timeless elegance.

Our design incorporated both 2D and 3D panels, focusing on combining different wood tones to create depth and dimension. We chose models from the CARO series from the FLAT collection and CARO PLUS from the SMOOTH collection. These selections allowed us to play with wood tones.

The installation process began once the panels arrived. The client covered about 22 square meters of the hallway with a combination of various wood textures and tones. Mixing wood tones gave the space a sophisticated yet natural look, transforming it from a simple transition area into a work of art.

The end result was a complete transformation. What was once an ordinary hallway now resonates with timeless elegance. The client was thrilled with the final look, especially with how the combination of wood elements gave the space a dynamic and modern feel while maintaining warmth and sophistication.

Why did the client choose these panel models?

The client was drawn to these panel models for several reasons:

âž” Mixing oak tones for visual interest: The client wanted to create a hallway that felt more than just functional. By choosing different oak tones, they added visual interest and dimension to the space. The combination of dark oak with lighter tones made the room feel more dynamic and inviting while avoiding a uniform, overly coordinated look.

âž” Depth and dimension: The use of both 2D and 3D panels allowed for a rich, layered design. The mixed oak tones approach brought depth to the room, highlighting the natural beauty of the wood and making the space feel more open and cohesive.

âž” A thoughtful mix of wood tones: The project featured a strategic mix wood tones to create a visually stunning hallway. By carefully selecting and matching wood tones, we ensured that each element complemented the others. The dominate wood tone, a deep dark wood, provided a strong base, while lighter wood pieces added contrast and harmony. This deliberate mix wood approach elevated the overall design, showcasing the potential of combining various wood tones to craft an elegant and dynamic space.

The dominant wood tone in the space was a deep, rich oak, providing a strong foundation. Lighter oak finishes and wood grain details added contrast and balance. This thoughtful approach helped the hallway feel both welcoming and sophisticated. Additionally, the interplay of oak tones created a layered effect that drew attention to the space’s unique features, such as the recessed lighting and the custom-designed entryway.
