    Frequently Asked Questions

The price range for FORM AT WOOD wooden wall panels is from 169€/sqm to 1015€/sqm net. The final cost for the MAPAO collection depends on several key factors: your choice of wood species (Ash, Oak, or American Walnut), the surface finish, as well as the selected profiles (SHIMA, TAKE, YUKI, NAMI) and panel lengths. Due to the wide variety of options, we approach each project individually.

The MAPAO collection is designed for maximum creative freedom. The panels are available in four standard lengths (12 cm, 24 cm, 48 cm, and 96 cm) and four unique profiles (SHIMA, TAKE, YUKI, NAMI), which differ in their shape to create a subtle 3D effect. You can freely combine them to create unique, rhythmic compositions on your wall.

The installation of MAPAO panels is simple and intuitive. It involves gluing the individual elements directly to the wall according to your planned design. The whole process is like assembling a jigsaw puzzle and can easily be done as a DIY project.

To see how the installation works, watch our instructional video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cy-dFK90p-o

The standard lead time for orders up to 50 sqm is approximately 5-7 weeks plus shipping time. The final timeframe depends mainly on the size of the order and our current production schedule. For larger projects, we determine the lead time individually, so please contact us for more details.

We provide 3D files of our products in various formats to make the work of designers and architects easier. You can download them directly from our Design Zone.

No, we do not have a minimum order quantity (MOQ). You can order even a single panel, for instance, to see the product in person or to complete an existing arrangement.

As a system of 3D decorative wood panels for walls, the MAPAO collection is ideal for emphasizing the geometry of an interior. It works perfectly in vertical arrangements, making a room feel taller, and in horizontal layouts, making the space feel wider. It’s an excellent choice for modern living rooms, hallways, offices, or as a feature wall behind a TV.

You can find inspiration and examples of completed projects in our Projects section.

We ship our decorative wood panels worldwide, working with trusted freight partners. The shipping cost depends on the order size, destination, and chosen mode of transport (land, sea, or air). Once we know where you are based, we can provide you with the most favorable shipping rates available.

      Decorative wood panels and people

      SHIMA

Shima is a manifesto against flat, silent walls. Its essence lies in one perfectly executed ridge – the foundation of your composition. You set the rhythm. With four panel lengths, you create your own score, from serene harmony to dynamic asymmetry.

Where does Shima tell its best story?

In hotel lobbies and exclusive restaurants, it sets the tone as a statement wall or sophisticated backdrop, elevating first impressions. In guest suites, it serves as a luxurious headboard or a refined accent above a writing desk. At home, it defines a reading nook or creates a tranquil corner in the master bedroom. In conference rooms, it becomes a discreet symbol of professionalism.

      Why choose Shima?

      • Your manifesto, not a template: You design the composition, Shima provides the tools.

      • Light in motion: A single groove transforms with the day, creating shifting moods.

      • Authentic material: Solid wood speaks of true craftsmanship.

      Technical specification:

      • dimensions: width: 12 cm, available lengths: 12 cm, 24 cm, 48 cm, 96 cm
      • thickness: 30 mm (1.18″) at the highest point
      • material: engineered plywood 12 mm + solid wood 18 mm
      • wood type: oak / American walnut / ash
      • finish: hard wax oil / varnish
      • mounting: using mounting adhesive

      TAKE

TAKE is a tribute to the quiet power of a wave. Its strength lies in the concave form—soft, flowing, and ever-changing with light. You decide its current. With four panel lengths, you shape the flow of your interior, from calm uniformity to dynamic intersecting waves.

Where does TAKE tell its best story?

In hotel lobbies, spas, and exclusive restaurants, it creates an oasis of calm and understated elegance. In hotel rooms, it becomes a serene headboard. At home, it brings harmony to the living room or deepens the sense of sanctuary in a bedroom. In offices, it reflects balance and creative flow.

      Why choose TAKE?

      • A living surface: Concave curves play with light and shadow, making the wall feel alive.
      • Modular serenity: Works alone or combined with other Mapao textures for a symphony of forms.
      • Authentic wood: Solid material, timeless craftsmanship, nature’s honesty.

      Technical specification:

      • dimensions: width: 12 cm, available lengths: 12 cm, 24 cm, 48 cm, 96 cm
      • thickness: 30 mm (1.18″) at the highest point
      • material: engineered plywood 12 mm + solid wood 18 mm
      • wood type: oak / American walnut / ash
      • finish: hard wax oil / varnish
      • mounting: using mounting adhesive

      YUKI

YUKI is a manifesto against randomness in minimalism. Its strength lies in two symmetrical ridges that frame light, shadow, and pure wood. They bring order and rhythm, letting you set the narrative – from raw industrial to refined, modern wainscoting.

Where does YUKI tell its best story?

In chic hotel lobbies and fine dining restaurants, it acts as an elegant divider or a striking wall behind reception, hinting at meticulous design. In luxury apartments, it organizes open-plan living areas or adds a sense of calm to home libraries. In executive offices, it underscores authority and taste, while in waiting rooms, it puts guests at ease.

      Why choose YUKI?

      • Minimalism with depth: Silent walls come alive, whispering with confidence.
      • Light and shadow play: Grooves refract light, keeping the wall dynamic.
      • Authentic wood: Solid material, timeless design, true luxury in quality.

      Technical specification:

      • dimensions: width: 12 cm, available lengths: 12 cm, 24 cm, 48 cm, 96 cm
      • thickness: 30 mm (1.18″) at the highest point
      • material: engineered plywood 12 mm + solid wood 18 mm
      • wood type: oak / American walnut / ash
      • finish: hard wax oil / varnish
      • mounting: using mounting adhesive

      NAMI

NAMI is a manifesto against two-dimensional thinking. Its strength lies in a sharp, asymmetrical cut that turns a wall into a dynamic landscape. This is not a form that asks for attention – it commands it. You decide the direction, rhythm, and tension, arranging disciplined patterns or bold, artistic compositions.

Where does NAMI tell its best story?

In boutique hotel bars and designer restaurants, it commands attention – wrapping columns or highlighting the entrance with dynamic energy. In residential lofts, it turns stairwells into sculptural features or gives walk-in closets a gallery-like feel. In creative studios, it fuels inspiration, and in meeting pods, it delivers a bold, modern accent.

      Why choose NAMI?

      • Energy with direction: Asymmetry creates light and shadow vectors that guide the eye.
      • Geometric freedom: Combine NAMI with itself or smooth textures for unique, sculptural effects.
      • Bold yet balanced: Strong and pure in form, it adds energy without chaos.

      Technical specification:

      • dimensions: width: 12 cm, available lengths: 12 cm, 24 cm, 48 cm, 96 cm
      • thickness: 30 mm (1.18″) at the highest point
      • material: engineered plywood 12 mm + solid wood 18 mm
      • wood type: oak / American walnut / ash
      • finish: hard wax oil / varnish
      • mounting: using mounting adhesive

      SHIMA

Shima to manifest przeciwko płaskim, cichym ścianom. Jej istota tkwi w jednej perfekcyjnie wykonanej wypukłości – podstawie Twojej kompozycji. Ty nadajesz rytm.

      Specyfikacja techniczna:

wymiary: szerokość: 12 cm, dostępne długości: 12 cm, 24 cm, 48 cm, 96 cm

materiał: sklejka 12 mm + drewno lite 18 mm
